In 1960, Vumba Water was born in the Vumba Mountains. But only in 1967 was the first water spring discovered 1050 metres above sea level, thus leading to the first filling line 3 years later.
Since then, Vumba Water has become part of Mozambican life and production has steadily increased over the years, as well as refinement and innovation in the art of bottling.
owadays, Vumba Water is collected at fourteen different springs, which are carefully monitored to ensure that the pure water from the spring gets to you with all its natural properties, thereby becoming the water with the greatest tradition in the country.
Vumba Water is collected at 1400m above sea level through a carefully controlled process to ensure that the purity and superior quality of our water is always present in every package of Vumba Family of bottles..
Vumba Water is available in 0.5L, 1.5L, 5L PET bottles and now also in 1L glass bottle.
Marrying the preservation of the Ecosystem in the Vumba Mountains with the good quality of our product is our greatest commitment.
Environmental issues are a key pillar in the Vumba brand positioning and guaranteeing the ecological preservation of the region where we operate, is an inherent part of our personality.
We therefore promote respect for the most basic environmental rules at our processing plant and encourage the consumers of our product to use responsibly and recycle our packaging.
Over 60 years we have won several awards on account of the purity of our water. These awards have been earned thanks to our continued efforts to improve the bottling method, our commitment to innovation and, of course, the superior quality of the water from the Vumba springs.
